Day One – From Marrakech to Dades valley via Ait Ben Haddou .
Leave the vibrant city of Marrakech and begin your adventure through the winding roads of the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the dramatic Tichka Pass (2,260 m). Along the way, stop to soak in breathtaking panoramas and admire authentic Berber villages perched on the hillsides.
Enjoy lunch in the legendary Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and 18th-century fortified village, famous as the backdrop of films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones.
Continue your journey across the pre-Saharan landscapes until you reach Dades valley,the rose Valley known for its fragrant blossoms, lush green fields and the lively rose festival celebrated every April. Dinner and overnight stay in a cozy local hotel.
Day Two – From Dades valley to Merzouga Desert Camp
After breakfast, set off across the stony desert to Tinghir ,a welcoming Berber town known for its vibrant rugs and carpets. Learn about Berber carpet weaving a carry on to the spectacular Todra canyon fo a walk and lunch. And continue to Erfoud, once an important caravan trading post. then leave the paved roads behind and head off-road into the golden sands.
Arrive at your luxurious tented camp in Merzouga, nestled at the foot of the vast Erg Chebbi dunes. Dinner under the stars and an unforgettable overnight stay in the magical silence of the desert.
Day Three – Sunrise Camel Ride & Journey to Agdz and Draa valley.
Wake up before dawn for a once-in-a-lifetime experience: a camel trek into the dunes to witness the sunrise over the Sahara—a mesmerizing spectacle of colors and shadows.
Return to camp for breakfast, then continue your journey through rugged desert landscapes towards the endless oases of date palms 🌴 to discover the contrast between the mighty rock desert and the lush green oases. Go for a walk through the oasis and set for the Kasbah for a night.
Dinner and overnight in a charming Kasbah surrounded by the Anti Atlas Mountains.
Day Four – Draa valley& Return to Marrakech via Ouarzazate.
Drive along draa valley and through the Anti Atlas Mountains to Ouarzazate often called the “Hollywood of Africa,” where world-famous movies are filmed. Visit the renowned Atlas Film Studios and see how cinematic magic is created. Stop by to watch local Berber women crafting intricate embroidered bed sheets and tablecloths, a beautiful expression of their artistry.
After a leisurely lunch, drive back through the Atlas Mountains and return to Marrakech, your journey enriched with unforgettable memories of Morocco’s mountains, desert, and culture.
